This great and huge renaissance clock tower adorns the entrance to the Mercerie. The main tower dates back to the 15th century. You can also check out the Madonna and the golden lion placed against the beautiful blue background shining with stars placed here by the architect Mauro Coducci. The clock face is decorated by zodian signs. On normal days you can witness two gigantic bronze statues koncking against the hour, however it gets best on Ascension day. The clock tower is worth taking a look at!
