The restaurant specialises in fine meat and vegetable dishes. Fresh Piemontese white truffles are also a highlight in the autumn. The interior is decorated in 1940's style, with wood panelling and overhead fans. The restaurant only serves Italian wines, and stocks around 250 labels. It is closed on Tuesday.

Choose between munching snacks and a glass of wine in the osteria-style bar area on entering, or pop upstairs to the tiny restaurant. The menu offers a variety of treats, many culled from the nearby market, while the pasta or risotto of the day is always a good option.

This self-service canteen-style chain restaurant is located near the train station in Venice. The restaurant offers a variety of simple pizza and pasta dishes along with mixed salads, fresh fruit and sweet desserts. The pasta dishes are usually cooked to order in front of you. This healthier and more satisfying alternative also sells alcoholic beverages at reasonable prices.

Caffe Baglioni is a quaint cafe at The Luna Hotel Baglioni. The cafe is located alongside a canal and offers guests an engaging view of the Giardini Reali. On the menu are a premier collection of cocktails and drinks that guests can linger over. With a tasteful decor and cute little couches, one can't help but fall in love with the cozy ambiance of this place. Sipping over a hot cup of creamy cappuccino or snacking on some light pastries is a great experience at the Baglioni. Located quite close to the city center, it is the ideal destination to unwind.

This is one of the many bars in Campo Santa Margherita, right in the heart of the university area and within walking distance of Ca Foscari and Ca Rezzonico. During summer you will see lined up tables outside this cafe and students crowd visiting frequently. The bar meals on offer include a good selection of panini, sandwiches and cicchetti (snacks), to enjoy with your ombra (glass of wine) or your beer. There is a good selection of wines, especially local varieties. If you prefer, there is coffee, brioche and cake.

This seasonal bar is located on the park of San Clemente Palace, just next to the swimming pool and sports area with tennis courts and 3 golf holes. It is open only during the summer and also doubles up as the pool bar. It's the perfect place to get a drink or a snack from, after a refreshing dip in the pool or to cool off after a walk around the lawns.  If you like you can have your drink by the pool while you sunbathe on a deck chair with a book. You can taste some delicious ice creams as well to add to the cool experience.

This is a snack bar with a history that is more than 200 years back. It serves excellent wine, accompanied by sandwiches and traditional Venetian appetizers. There is no formal seating,  but you will find typical Venetian barrels and wooden benches to perch yourself on. You will find something that will suit your taste.

This is a historical Rialto Market restaurant dating back to the previous age. The area around this restaurant still seems to be a fish market. Sometimes you might feel that the staff are not very polite. During summer, you can eat outdoors and the sarrounding beauty makes the setting. The wines are excellent and the fish dishes are cooked quickly and taste wonderful.

This is a traditional restaurant that offer traditional local cuisines in Italian and Mediterranean. This is a hard to find gem in Venice only a few minutes walk from Rialto.They offer brilliant food with tasty desserts and modestly priced wines. A selection of great seafood is also available here.

Algiubagio is a lovely restaurant by the waterside. You can sit by the patio and watch the sun goes down. It's just next to the Fondamente Nove vaporetto station. You will get tasty wine and very fresh seafood here. Off the road, this little find gem is a great treat to your breaks in Venice.

Although a small restaurant, Osteria has a great ambience. It has only two dinner seatings. This restaurant has been highly recommended by most tourists and in the tour books. You can try over a course of dishes, the best ones are the fish dishes. The staff will help you to get the right choices. Eventhough the dishes are a bit pricey, you will feel it is worth. The restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday. To get the comfortable seatings, get your reservation early.
