Opened in 1720, Caffe Florian have established itself as having long roots of history and culture. Easy to locate, it is in the middle of the piazza, underneath the Museo Correr and the Museo Archeologico. The interior of this cafe is sumptuous and elegant. Like most of the other cafes in Venice, you will see outside tables and live music during summer. The menu offers light meals, tea and cakes.
Although less known than the Cafe Florian, this cafe is dated back to the 18th centuary.Charming in its appearance, this cafe is set in San Marco Square. You can have a good cup of coffee and do people watch at the same time. On summer nights the cafe plays music till late night.
